Well folks… the time has come for an era to end. It’s hard to believe that is has been 4 years since I started The Tempest-Tossed.  There were times when I thought I may never finish it.  With fanfic dying, sometimes there didn’t seem like a reason to.  

But they deserved an ending.  They were owed one after 4 years.  

I’d like to say the conclusion is spectacular, but the truth is, I think it’s decent at best. I put off finishing this story because I couldn’t come up with the perfect ending for them. Some endings seemed too trite, predictable, and to be perfectly honest, sickeningly sappy.  Others seemed too bland, uneventful, stale.

I wrote what I thought was right- what I thought did the story justice and what I thought suited Gabrielle and Taylor best. I hope you like it, but I know there will be some of you that don’t.  It’s a lot of pressure to finish a story. I just hope that I did them justice.
